Wedding Flowers Terms & Conditions
Fleur & Blume Weddings Ltd
Wedding flower services are provided by Fleur & Blume Weddings Ltd (“the Florist”). By booking our services, you (“the Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
1.1 A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total order value is required to secure your wedding date. This will be deducted from the final balance.
1.2 The final balance is due no later than six (6) weeks before the wedding date. Failure to pay by this date may result in termination of the contract, forfeiture of the deposit, and no further obligation on the part of the Florist.
1.3 Accepted payment methods are cash, bank transfer, or card payment via invoice link.
1.4 All delivery, service and installation charges apply and are payable by the Client. These may include distance-based delivery fees, staff time, van hire, or relocation of arrangements during the day.
2. Changes to Your Order
2.1 Any changes must be confirmed no later than six (6) weeks before the wedding date.
2.2 Additional items requested after this date will be invoiced separately and must be paid in full at the time of ordering.
2.3 Once this contract is signed, the order cannot be reduced by more than 30% of the agreed value. Any reductions beyond this are at the sole discretion of the Florist.
3. Estimates & Final Pricing
3.1 An initial estimate will be provided at the time of booking.
3.2 Due to seasonal availability and market fluctuations, the final invoice (issued 6–8 weeks before the wedding) may differ from the estimate. The Client agrees to pay the final invoiced amount in full.
4. Design & Substitutions
4.1 While every effort will be made to supply the agreed flowers and colours, substitutions may be necessary due to availability or supply issues.
4.2 The Client authorises the Florist to make substitutions within the agreed colour palette, using professional judgement and flowers of equal or greater value.
5. Delivery, Collection & Responsibility
5.1 Upon delivery or collection of the wedding flowers and associated goods, the Client accepts full responsibility for their condition.
5.2 Collection or delivery confirms that the Florist’s contractual obligations have been fulfilled in full.
5.3 The Florist is not responsible for damage caused by weather, guests, venue staff, or relocation of arrangements after delivery.
6. Hire Items & Rentals
6.1 Any hired items (including vases, stands or structures) remain the property of the Florist.
6.2 All hired items must be returned in the same condition and within the agreed time.
6.3 The Client is liable for the full replacement cost of any lost or damaged items.
6.4 Collection by the Florist can be arranged for an agreed fee.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
7.1 If the Client cancels, the following charges apply:
- 0–60 days before: 100% of remaining balance
- 61–90 days: 75% of remaining balance
- 91–120 days: 60% of remaining balance
- 121–180 days: 50% of remaining balance
- 181+ days: deposit only
7.2 All cancellation fees are payable within 10 days of cancellation.
7.3 If the Client reschedules, the deposit may be transferred to a new date (subject to availability) for up to two (2) years from the original date. If unavailable, the deposit will be forfeited.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 The Florist shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to extreme weather, fire, flood, pandemic, war, government restrictions, strikes, or supplier failure.
8.2 In such circumstances, the Florist reserves the right to terminate the contract without further liability.
9. Liability
9.1 In the event of serious illness, accident, or emergency, the Florist will attempt to arrange a suitable replacement florist of comparable skill and cost.
9.2 If no suitable replacement can be found, the Florist’s liability is limited to a refund of all monies paid.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
